To BEE or Not to BEE Blog Hop

Hi Friends!!

Happy World Bee Day!

I am honored to BEE a part of 4th "To Bee or Not to BEE" blog hop.

This hop is hosted by Milka, to celebrate 3rd World Bee Day, to support bees along with their protection,to raise public awareness of the importance of bees and beekeeping, and benefits of using agricultural products for our health.

Milka has rounded up bloggers, sponsors and prizes, too!!A Blog Hop wouldn't be as fun without some prizes up for grabs and this one is no different!! So hop with us,learn about the importance of BEES and comment to win prizes from these generous sponsors.

HERE is my creation for the hop,

I have used Honeycomb stencil from Heidi Swapp for the background and inked in squeezed lemonade distress ink.

I have used "BEE FRIENDS" stamp set from one of our kind Sponsor "Pretty Pink Posh" for the flowers, bees and the sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment directly to the white base in Black Memento ink.The flowers and bees images are stamped on separate card stock and water colored using Zig markers.

Let's see why we are celebrating BEE DAY

In 2018, the UN designated May 20th as WORLD BEE DAY to raise awareness of the importance of bees and other pollinators, the threats they face and their contribution to sustainable development.

Bees play an important role in relation to the scope of agricultural production. Effective pollination increases the amount of agricultural produce, improves their quality and enhances plants’ resistance to pests.

Cultivated plants that depend on pollination are an important source of income to farmers. They provide jobs and income to millions of people. But of late, Bees have become increasingly endangered. There are various factors affecting their population such as  viral or mite infection of bees, use of pesticides, pollution, urbanization etc. Needless to say this poses a great threat to global agriculture.

We can help bees by
- buying local honey
- having a Bee friendly garden
- buy Bee friendly food, like Organic
- become a bee keeper

Back to the hop now,
