Photoframe and a Tag

Hello Friends,

Warm welcome to my blog...I have been keeping away from crafting for a while now since I was traveling.I am back and sharing few projects I made before leaving for travel.I have done these projects as my Design team post for Tubby Craft.

So here is my first project for today,I have made a decoupaged photo frame.I was making it for a friends daughter who will be turning seven soon. What could be better than using these lovely number stamps and get the gift personalized.Sharing picture below with some close ups.

1. Photo frame

Instructions:

1.Firstly I took a wooden raw photo frame base and used some pattern paper to do basic decoupage on it.

2.After that I stamped the number stamp and sentiment on white card stock with Tubby Craft Jet Black ink pad.

3.Then used various Tubby craft inks to fill in colors using watercolor techniques in the number image.

4. Next I used Emerald Green Dye ink from Tubby craft to color the wooden WARMTH sentiment.I first applied small amount of Gesso to the surface and then applied Green dye ink on top of it twice to get desired effect.

5. Once the warmth sentiment dried with dye ink,I covered it with Dovecraft Glitter Glue to add shine to it.

6. Lastly I added a butterfly and balloon sticker on the frame along with number image and lovely sentiment from the same stamp set.

And yes my beautiful gift is ready. Below is the list of materials I have used.

Materials Used:

Stamps: Seven Heaven

My second project for the day is a simple and sweet tag where I have again used the number stamp.

2. Tag

Instructions

1. I took a simple white card stock and applied Light pink ink with the applicator tool on the whole background. Then die cut it with Tag die.

2. Next I took lace stamp and heat embossed it in white on pink card stock, then cut it with lace die.Adhere the die cut on the tag

3. I stamped the number stamp and coordinating sentiment on a blue card stock and adhered it on the tag which is already die cut.

4. Then I stamped the cute little bunnies on white card stock and colored them using Hot pink and Lemon yellow inks from Tubby Craft.Adhered the fussy cut bunnies on top of the stamped number with double sided tape.My tag is ready.

Material used:

One fun and Lace pattern

Mixed Media...July Moodboard

Hi friends,

It been long I have not tried my hands on mixed media, needed some inspiration to kick off...I chose to pick July Moodboard from Mixed Media and Art...this one inspired me and here I am with my version of moodboard

I loved doing this piece. The bottom of the panel has some hand collected sea shells which me and my daughters collected on our trip to Pondicherry. The flower is made of clay and then adhered to the panel. This work is for my daughters who loved playing with me on this piece of art.I have used Lindy sprays and Prime waxes to make this.

My Inspiration came from the picture below

Floral cards with Tubby craft stamps

This is my first post with Tubby craft stamps.I have recently joined their Design team and loved my Dt kit filled with all goodies including stamps, ink pads and acrylic blocks. They are all made in India and of high quality.

I made two cards with their floral stamps,Lets show you both the cards

For the first card,I have used Ink pads to create the background. The blending is done on Neenah 110lb cardstock. Next I created the fence by distressing it with wild honey and then handcut to make the fence as middle layer.Last layer has all the flowers created with lot of masking and then watercolored before applying the nuvo glitters.Adhered all layers with clear glue and double sided tape and my card is done. The sentiment is also stamped with tubby craft black ink.I have used following stamp set from Tubby Craft

On to my second card,

I chose to use red card stock as base and attached a sheet of vellum as a layer at the back. Then I took a round circle card stock, stamped the image with tubby craft black ink and ten water colored with Zig colors. The sentiment is also stamped with black ink and then fussy cut before adhering with double sided tape.I have just added a tint of sparkle to my flowers center.Lastly added gum drops to add interest to the card.I have used following stamp set from Tubby Craft

Hope you enjoyed both the cards.I am attaching the cards to following challenges:

I have twisted the sketch a little but followed in same style

Heart you !!

Hello friends,

Today I have a CAS Masculine card.My friend rushed to me a day back seeking a Father's Day card for her husband from her kids. She told me he loves simple stuff so nothing fancy on the card...I decided to go CAS for this card. Here is my card

I have used Altenew Cube builder Stencil with Distress inks to create a geometric pattern on the left side. The sentiment is from Uniko's Pure Floral Rose clear stamp set stamped with black archival ink.Lastly I have attached coordinating enamel dots to complete my card with a silver strip running a little on the left after the geometric pattern.

I was inspired by Tracie's card from AAA cards challenge. Here is her card

I am playing along following challenges with this card:
