Just say Cheese!!

Hi all,

I love making Scrapbook layouts,I feel they are the best ways to document memories and that's the same feeling with my family members too.My first layout happened some four years back and since then its like no stopping...Hhehe๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‡

Today's layout is special,I have made this for my husband who is a keeper and enabler of my crafting journey and wishes.Without him,all this would never be possible. For this layout,I was completely inspired by Flora Farkas layout for NSD on Pink Fresh Studio blog,I absolutely loved the sketch presented by her.For color palette,I took my inspiration from Pink Fresh Studio's May month challenge colors .

Here is my take on this

Flora's layout is below

The color palette which inspired me is here

I love Rainbows and really can't miss this lovely palette as my inspiration.

How I made it:

This lovely layout is done on a plain white card stock of size 12*12.I have used my Distress oxides to create a watercolor washed background using a flat brush of 1" size.

Next I used "Unicorn Dreams" Stamp set from Pink fresh studio and stamped all images on a white card stock and die cut them.I have water colored few portions of the Unicorn. All pieces are adhered as shown.I adhere the picture on top of a white die cut panel.

Next I adhered some flower puffy stickers from Pebbles brand which I picked from Scrapbook.com.After that I stamped small leaves all around the wreath in light green ink.I also added few more stickers of heart and camera.A small sentiment saying I believe in you is also stamped on white die cut panel top right.

Lastly I added the sentiment which is on vellum which silver writing saying "Just say Cheese".Completed the layout with some enamel dots.

SMILE Scrapbook Layout

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a layout which I wanted to make for very long time for my little karate champ,She asked me a scrapbook layout sometime back but I wasn't finding much time because of work.

My inspiration behind this layout is completely drawn from  Altenew-sketch-challenge-13
I loved how Enza interpreted this sketch,Here is my take on this

I have used Altenew Peony Scrolls for this layout.I took a patterned paper and stamped various elements from the stamp set using Green Archival Ink.Then I stamped the same elements on a white cardstock and colored them using Altenew Alcohol markers.Later have fussy cut them since I do not have the coordinating die.

I made a magnetic cardboard frame which holds her picture with a smile sentiment. This frame is detachable to be used separately and can also be used to hold the whole layout to a metal surface.

Everything is arranged as shown.Loved using butterflies and enamel dots (inspired by Enza's layout).

Sharing some close ups of the same

Hope you liked my work as well.

Family layout

Hello friends!!

This is like a much waited post, but I am glad to finally present it today....so story begins like this...Some time back I bought few scrapbooking supplies for myself from Altenew..a friend told me she is travelling to U.S for short period and will be able to get my parcel soon...parcel reached her bang on time...but(sadly)she had to stay back for another 3 weeks for some office work...hmmm so it reached my hands after a long desperate wait for more than one month...but finally it's here and I am loving it...My today's layout is all about my lovely and supportive family of two little Princesses and an amazing husband...without them nothing would have been possible...SO now without much ado..here is my layout

For the background,I have used a lovely pattern paper from Papericious Femina set.I then added Dovecraft gold glitter glue on some portions to enhance the base paper.I also did some watercolored flowers in yellow diagonally on the base paper.

Then I started putting my family picture and then put a frame around it from "Our family scrapbook collection.I used another sentiment frame from same scrapbook collection and adhered it to one of the sides of the pic.

I adhered the Floral flurries washi tape onto white cardstock and fussy-cut the images to create layers and add dimension to the layout. The heart on the camera is an adhesive wood veneer from our family scrapbook collection.

The banner is fussy-cut from Femina paper pack and I have handwritten the sentiment "Joy of Togetherness".I have added handmade butterflies on the top left corner to play with additional twist of Papericious challenge. Also I was inspired by Enza's both Altenew layout where she has added Butterflies.I have also added some papericious chippies, the round circulars on bottom left side and top right, after coloring them Blue with Altenew alcohol markers.

Lastly I have added love sentiment which is a sticker and few enamel dots.

I have been admiring Enza's layout's for Altenew Sketch challenge#9 and glad to finally play along with the challenge. Here is Enza's layout which inspired me to make one

I have played both with the sketch and the color combination .

Now onto choosing my background,I had no doubts after seeing Erum's card with Femina paper,Here is her card

I had real fun making this layout and my family is loving it.

I have added paper frame to my focal picture.
