Leave a little sparkle..

Hello friends!

Today I have a simple gold embossed card on my blog. This card is very special to me as this is for one of my very good friend who is shifting to a new town soon..Aww I will really miss her...one more reason that it is really special is that I have finally got a chance to lay my hands on the most beautiful stamp,"BEAUTIFUL DAY" By ALTENEW....Yes after long wait,I have this stamp set and believe me its a real treasure to cherish forever.

Here is my card with few close ups

So for this card my inspiration has come from Altenew-october-2017-inspiration-challenge/

I was inspired by the lovely color combinations...I don't know why but honestly colors attract me much more than other things 🙂🙂so i played on same lines.

that is where I got this lovely idea of using gold embossing powder

For making this card,I first gold embossed the flowers with Versamark ink and rangers gold powder using few techniques of masking. After that I water colored them with Zig markers and then fussy cut the white cardstock on which i have made these flowers with leaves.

Next I took kraft brown cardstock as base card and stuck white fussy cut portion with double sided tape.Next I took Vellum sheet and again gold embossed the sentiment.Lastly added a few cup sequins and my card for today is done.

I am also joining along
with this card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Book Style Photo frame with beautiful Dogwood flowers

Hello friends,
Today I am on my blog with a lovely photo frame. This one is a book style two pic photo frame.I had great time making this one and outcome was really pretty.Let me show you a picture of it first before I proceed for the step by step instructions how I made it along with list of supplies.

Sharing few close ups of the frame now

Let me share now the procedure, how to make one easily.

So I took white chipboard(u can opt to take any color chipboard of your choice).

Then I marked as shown in pic.

Cut it and keep aside, then i took some a sheet of handmade paper and started sticking it around and joining all panels.

This is how it will look after joining all three panels.

Then i cut some more chipboard to stick on inside panel and make window to put picture.

Inside I stuck two of such windows, one on each side and covered with some handmade paper borders.

This is how it looks after finishing making the photo frame.

Now is the turn to embellish the frame and make it look beautiful.I have used some mdf frame, some beads and inka gold.

I have made these super beautiful Dogwood flowers with the help of Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood Stamp and die set.To make these first I have heat embossed the stamped flowers with the help of gold embossing powder and then colored them with my Zig clean color markers.

This is how my frame looks after arranging all these embellishments.I have put inka gold on mdf frame to add touch of gold.Sharing few more pictures of the beautiful frame.

Hope you too enjoyed the making.

Happy crafting,Hugs!!

Diwali tray with shimmery satin flowers

Hello Everyone!!

Diwali is around ,Festival of lights and loads of celebration,so today I have created a beautiful and elegant tray to go well with the occasion .My inspiration behind was definitely the festive mood. This tray can be used for various purposes like keeping potpourri and candle, how I have shown in the pic,or to keep dry fruits during festival time or to keep any other decorative item as well.

I have made these lovely shimmery flowers by using satin ribbons and shimmer sprays, which I have attached on the side of the tray giving my tray such a unique look.

To make these flowers I have used Botanical Wings Die from Heartfelt Creations. This was the first time I was trying die cutting on a satin ribbon and I was extremely happy with the fine and neat cut by my dies

Let me show you some close ups as well.

Hope you have enjoyed this creative work..Do leave love and feedback below.

Shimmery Succulent Pot

Hello friends,

Today I have a quick inspiration for the current Craftyscrappers challenge.I have made this lovely pot using my mixed media skills and Craftyscrappers products.Let me share a picture of it before sharing the procedure and material.

I took a simple pot and painted it with gesso all over.Once the gesso dried,I sprayed the pot with bitter lemon shimmer spray from Craftyscrappers and let it dry again.
I have stamped some pots and succulents from Craftyscrappers stamp set "I am stuck on  you" with Black archival Ink.I have painted these using ranger enamel accents to uplift the coloring, some places I have also colored with archival inks as they are waterproof inks.
Then I took some frosting powder and added  little bitter lemon shimmer spray to it and mixed it well.On the top of the pot ,I applied this colored frosting powder with the help of matt medium.Bottom I have added some inka gold effect.

Hope you enjoyed this quick makeover of pot.
