Keep a warm heart Scrapbook Layout

Hello Friends,

I have been keeping busy these days as my kids summer holidays are going on.There are so many things to be done in a day, more cooking, more running around inside the house and outside when taking them for various extra circular classes. But honestly spending so much of quality time together is also priceless.I was trying to work on this for quiet sometime when in the middle my laptop also crashed ,happy to complete it.

My daughters love my layouts, they feel its such a unique way to treasure memories and I completely agree with them.My elder one has a full wall in her room dedicated for my layouts.

For today's layout,I have drawn my inspiration from Altenew Sketch Challenge #14.

Here is my layout for the challenge

To make this layout ,I have used lot of amazing products from Altenew. Here is a list,

How to:
I have taken a 12*12 white cardstock. and added three strips of Dotted Washi tape as per the sketch.I took another white cardstock of size 4*4.5 and using watercolor striped stencil made the pattern using watercolors, adhered that to main frame using double sided tape.I then adhered the picture on top of this water colored piece.

I have used various stamp sets, list is mentioned above, where I stamped them using black Ink on separate cardstock and dieccut it or fussy cut as required.

Some flowers are from Our family cardcstock stickers, other are stamped, colored and fussy cut before adhering them to the layout.I have used flowers from Happy Bloom stamp set.Leaves are from stickers and Camelia set.

For sentiments,I have used stamp set like Best mom and Happy holidays.Everything is adhere as shown.I finished my layout using some enamel dots bought locally.I have also handwritten a personal message using a gel pen simply.

For this layout I was completely inspired the sketch and also the color theme. For me flowers are life,so going floral is something I would never skip.LOL😊😊

I baked you....

Hi all,

I have a quick post for today.Made this super cute card for a friend whom we(me and my two daughters,4 and 8 years old) actually baked a cake from scratch....LOL...I am not a cake making person but this one I wanted to try...what better than gifting a catty card to someone who loves cakes and cats both. Here is my card

I was completely inspired by the current sketch challenge on http://www.inkypawschallenge.com/2019/04/inky-paws-challenge-95.html

To make this card:

1. First I took an orange color cardstock as my base.Next I took white card stock and diecut using Essential Cutaways from Winnie and Walter.Later covered some portion of this white cardstock with Gingham Washi tapes.

2. Next I took another white cardstock and cut it as per the sketch, adhered some washi tape on the top and ties a Baker's twine.

3. Next I stamped this cat image from Newton Loves Cake stamp set and water colored it.I fussy cut the image and adhered using double sided tape.

4. Lastly everything is adhered as shown.I embellished  the card using Gumdrops.

Special Moments Mixed media frame

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a mixed media frame on my blog.I loved the color chart used on this one. This one is my favorite covering lot of my handmade flowers. Here's a picture with some close ups along.

PROCEDURE

I have used a 9*12 inches canvas as my base. Then applied heavy white Gesso on my base.Next I have used a Tim Holtz stencil with modelling paste creating the Harlequin design on both the opposite sides of the panel. On one of the sides I have also used dotted stencil from Tim Holtz.

Next I have used Lindy's colors, Caribbean Cruise Flat spray set to color my panel. All these flowers are handmade using Sigma papers from Papericious. Some are made using various dies and some are handcut.

Lastly I have attached everything in the frame using heavy gel as shown including flowers, chip boards, pictures, some tiny beads ,cup sequins and resin white frames.
