Home Decor KeyHolder

Hi Friends,

This is my first post for the new year 2021,I am excited to share something so unique for me.

So making something from scratch is always fun, and this time I just had to try this keyholder which I have been wishing to gift my Granny living in a small village of India.

I wanted to give this keyholder a feel of both Indian traditional art forms and western styles of crafting too.

Here are some pics

This is like a perfect Decor piece for hanging keys or something similar with rings attached. I have used Altenew Celebrate Today stamp set for the florals and Bold Caps Alphabet dies for the lettering.

Everything is hand painted using acrylic colors. The borders have traditional Indian folk art pattern combined with leaves from the same stamp set.

Here are some pics how I made it.

I took a wooden piece of half inch thickness and cut it as shown,next I had to fix these hangings to it. I chose to cover it with three hangers.

So when I started painting with hangers,they were restricting my hand movement,so I had to remove them for the time being and started off with painting on the wooden block.

I stamped the florals using Black Archival Ink and masked surrounding areas with washi tape to avoid any pattern flowing to borders.

Then I colored everything on the holder using acrylic colors. And fixed back all the holders.

I also did a coat of varnish after completing my paint work to give it a long and durable life.

Christmas Thanks !!

Hello Friends,

I have another card for today. This one I made for my Daughter's Maths Teacher which we gave her this Christmas. I tried incorporating few Geometrical shapes like Circle and Cylinder in my card.Inside the card I have put sentiment of Merry Christmas.

I have used Honeybee stamps Farm fresh Flowers stamp set.

I have also tried creating a little 3D effect on my card,hoping its visible in the picture too.

Holiday card !!

Hi Everyone !!

I have this lovely card for today. I made this for a dear friend and since now it has already been received by her,I can post it too.

I chose to keep a different color scheme for my Christmas card inspired by Altenew May 2020 Inspiration colors.

Here is what inspired me

I have used

Altenew Watercolor stripes stencil

Altenew and Pink Fresh Studio Celebrate Today stamp set

WOW Blue Glitz embossing powder

Copic Alcohol Markers

I started by using a 5*7 inches Light Orange cardstock and adhered another layer of white gold glitter sheet.

Next I stencilled using embossing powder and then topped it up with copic colored stamped floral image.

I completed my card with a holiday sentiment and some cup sequins.

Santa's Mailbox, Magengo Designs

Hi Everyone !!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

I have this lovely card for you all today. I have used Santa's Mailbox stamp set from Magengo Designs .

I have used a Blue card stock as my base card and topped with three layers of white die cut windows. I have used double sided tape to adhere one window to another.

Next I printed my stamp set (I have provided link of my stamp set and also Magengo Etsy shop above)

and colored in Copics. Loved all the cute images in the stamp set. I adhered these as shown.

I also adhered two die cut snowflakes and a cute printed sentiment.

Thank You, Heat embossed background

Hi Friends,

I have this lovely card for today, I have used Pretty peonies and Meadow motifs stamps sets from Sugarpea Designs and heat embossed using WOW products.

I added sparkle to my card using white sparkle embossing powder from WOW.

I have also added some small pearls in the end to add interest to my card.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

Hi Friends,

I have been on a good long break visiting my family. Super happy and refreshed now to begin a new year.

But before that let's celebrate Christmas the same way with all the fun and joy. Here's my first Christmas card for 2020. This one has a gift card pocket inside, check below for more pics.

I have dome stamping, stenciling, heat embossing and ink blending for my card.

I have used Uniko stamps In the forest stencil and Peace on Earth stamp set.

I have also used Forest Friends stamp set from Honeybee stamps.

Merry die is from Altenew.

Blue glitz embossing powder is from WOW !!

Ink blending on the background is done in Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon distress inks.
