Love Sisters!!

Hello friends,

I am glad to show you all this card today..this one is a customized order by my younger daughter(3 year old) to the elder one who is 7.

I adore the moment when my little doll wanted some of my handmade cards to show love for her big sis...I do not have many words to describe this sisterly love and bond...I can see that right from the beginning...so without much delay, here is my take

For this card ,I drew my inspiration from http://yournextstamp.com/blog/sketch-and-color-challenge-88/

I have chosen the color challenge to play with.I have used Star friends stamp set for my card and have water colored the image and background.

Hope you liked my card.

Today I have tried my hands with Altenew Floral motifs stamp set...Let me share a picture of the card first, will share complete description below after that

For this card,I took 5*5" cardstock. On the base, firstly I have used Washi tape from altenew. After that I stamped those leaves from Happy bloom stamp set both on left and right of the tapes with Black archival ink and watercolored them. The flowers are from Floral Motifs stamp set, stamped and colored on separate sheet, fussy cut and then rearranged for the card. The sentiment is from Best Mom stamp set, heat embossed with black embossing powder. All stamps and washi tape used are from Altenew.

My inspiration for this card came from May card challenge by Altenew. The color palette completely inspired me

You have got Superpowers!!

Hello friends,

Today's card is my favorite...I have first time used one of my most desired and favorite stamp set from Create a Smile...This one is "Superpowers"...I loved all the images on this stamp set and enjoyed coloring them each bit.

Here is my CAS card with this awesome stamp set

This card is dedicated to all those supermums who tirelessly dedicated their whole life to their kids and family.

To make this card,I took 5*5" card base. Then I did some black color splatters on the base, stuck hand teared green vellum sheet first and then the rainbow stripes, each color one by one.To make this rainbow stripes,I had cut had equal strips from different color cardstocks.

The unicorn is stamped with Black archival ink and then water colored with Zig pens, fussy cut and then adhered to the base with double sided tape. The sentiment is stamped on the rainbow base with black archival ink.

Hope you liked my card.

New Home!!

One of dear friend is shifting and I decided to make her a card..Sharing the pictures below

I have used Sugarpea designs Stamp, a small peony from Pretty peonies Stamp set to create the background, have stamped with library green archival ink on the base cardstock.

I created an alcohol ink background keeping the color inspiration from Sugarpea Mix it up challenge #42.Then I have done layered die cutting with Sugarcuts "Home sweet home" and tried fixing it as per the sketch provided in the challenge.

The sentiment is half stamped and half handwritten...the hearts on the left above the sentiment was leftover from the Home die cut.

Sharing some closeups of the Alcohol ink background and the layering done on die cut.

I really enjoyed making my first alcohol ink background...the outcome is pretty with Sugarpea designs products.

Elegant name plate!

Today I want to show you a name plate done by me recently...This one is completely up cycled. I have used some scraps of wood lying with me to create this name plate.Let me share a picture of the plate first.

So I started by taking two vertical panels and fixed hooks on both at the back of them.I have used a Paper from No One but You Scrapbook paper from Bob and Betty.I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the base. For the horizontal panels,I have used Papericious Naturals designer paper and again adhered with Mod podge. The circles used on the left hand top corner are the old coasters which have been decoupaged with Bob and Betty Festive assortments decoupage papers. The smaller circle is colored with Papericious Chalk paints with a hint of Acrylic colors and topped with Glossy accents.

The names on the plate are covered with Papericious Heavy black Gesso and topped with Glossy accents to add shine and volume to the project.

The peacocks are colored with Papericious chalk paints and then topped with white sparkle.

Hope you liked it.
