Arabesque Medallion by Altenew

This is my birthday month and I am keeping super busy ,honestly I dont know where I am spending time but its flying and I am getting very less time for crafting.

Recently I bought few Altenew stamps and one among them was Arabesque Medallion.This stamp set has some magic,when I saw it first time I knew I need to have this....today I am happy to share an Octagon flip card with this beautiful stamp set.Here is a picture of the same

I have used alcohol markers from Altenew with a combination of water coloring on white heat embossed stamped design.I took a 6*6 sheet and did the heat embossing and coloring on it.Then I cut it into 9 equal pieces.And pasted them on another 6*6 sheet with double sided tape...the center one is attached with joining double sided tape twice to uplift a little more.After all attachments,have cut the four sides slanting way.The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.Added that again with double sided tape.So this card is like three layered one.

Florals for Birthdays

Hi friends,

Today I have a lovely water colored shaker card to show you all.My inspiration behind this card is Altenew September Inspiration challenge pic

I loved the color combination ...here's my take on the challenge inspiration

I have used Persian motifs stamp set from Altenew,where i did white heat embossing and then water colored the florals.Happy word is Die from Altenew again accompanied with birthday die cut.I have added little fun to the card by adding shaker elements to the same.

Everyday Love layout

Hello friends,

Today I have a beautiful project to show you all. This one is a lovely layout putting feelings on paper in form of art.I have made this for a friend and her baby.

For this layout I used the sketch provided by Altenew for their altenew-sketch-challenge-5

I really loved the sketch and wanted to play along definitely ...the color dots are my favorite ones given on the sketch,so incorporating these colors was such a joy.

To make this layout ,first I took a pattern paper,this one is from Femina (Papericious).Link to the blog is papericiousindia.blogspot.in/  I also took One of the Papericious Chipboard and heat embossed it with snow white glitter embossing powder.I loved how the pattern paper and chipboard added lot of shimmer to my layout.

After that I have used Stamp set from Altenew which is Peony Scrolls and heat embossed them in gold before coloring them with watercolors.I did fussy cut to these flowers and scrolls.

I have used few embellishments to adorn it like some stickers.The title is my favorite from one of the paper pack designed by Divya Thallap .

happy me with Altenew

Hello frens,

Long time,yes I got busy with lot of other personal things in the last month but each day I was crafting,maybe little less than usual days..I am sure all crafters will agree with me..FOR us crafting is real OXYGEN..hehh.

Now coming back I have beautiful card made with Altenew Wild Hibiscus stamp set.I have also used Altenew Happy die for sentiment.Sharing a quick picture of my card with a close up pic as well.

While I sat down to start after a break,i really needed an inspiration dose and what best than Altenew August challenge Inspiration.I have always admired Erum's work and her coloring skills.Sharing the picture of the challenge along with the link

I loved the unusual color combination.For my card I kept color theme as my inspiration.My base cardstock is kraft cardstock giving me a nice brown background.I have heat embossed the flowers with gold embossing powder and then used alcohol ink for coloring.For this card i tried creating splatters through heat embossing techniques only.

The sentiment is die cut from Altenew happy die on a gold cardstock.The right hand border is also done on gold cardstock with the help of border punch.Lastly added some cup sequins and my card is done.

This one looked much more beautiful in real than what you can see in picture.Maybe I was not able to capture real gold and green effects.

Altenew Wild Hibiscus

Today I have a beautiful card for u all,I am playing along Altenew April-2017-inspiration-challenge .This month has been quite busy.I saw the inspiration pic on the altenew blog some 10 days back and since then it has been on my mind..Let me show you my card.I simply loved the colors I have used and what makes it my favorite is its beautiful flowers.

I have used Altenew Wild Hibiscus Stamp set for flowers.On white base cardstock I have done heat embossing with light golden embossing powder.I have combined stencil work with heat embossing.Then I stamped my flowers on a pattern paper and have fussy cut them.On the white cardstock I have also done shades with the help of distress inks.Behind I have used a handmade paper as cardstock and did same flower stamping with Archival black Ink by using masking techniques.Attached all together and added a teal blue organza ribbon to the bottom of the card.

My Happy Sunshine

Oh I am so excited with this new post,My darling daughter won chess tournament few days back,I promised myself to gift her something handmade which she can treasure forever...and what best than a picture layout.To my rescue I had lovely inspiration from Altenew February challenge,So let me show you what I have made out of the lovely inspiration of flowers and all colors

Attaching few side views

I have used Altenew dahlia-blossoms stamp set for this layout.coloring is done with Zig markers.I have tried layered stamping with flowers and leaves. Have used scalloped frames,resin windows and Altenew happy die . Have added gloss to happy diecut with glossy accents.Corner black line pattern is hand drawn and painted.Sunshine stamp is from my stash.Lastly I have done some splattering with black water colors.

My pink love

Hello and Happy Valentines to all,

For past few days,I just want to make cards,cards and more cards.....Oh my god its just fun playing with lovely stamps,inks and embellishments.Though for whole world color of love is red,for me its pink honestly.So I decided to make my Love card with pink definitely and adding to my good luck I got beautiful inspiration from Altenew February Challenge.This is what I have made

I have used Beige card stock,Flower stamp is from Altenew,Wild Hibiscus,Love die cut is done on a gold card stock,Die is from Sizzix thinlits.I have stamped the flowers on a separate white card stock and then hand painted with Zig colors.After that i have done fussy cutting to them and tried doing some embossing tricks with these flowers on embossing mat.I loved the results when i started layering them on the base card stock.lastly i embellished with cup sequins.
