HOME scrapbook layout

Hi Crafty friends,

I am sure if you have been a regular visitor to my blog, you must have noticed my love for Altenew products...I admit they are awesome and definitely irresistible💗😊😊Today I have made a lovely cheerful scrapbook layout using all Altenew products. So here is my Layout

Products used:
Altenew Cube builder stencil
Altenew Best Mom stamp set
Altenew Our family Scrapbook collection,Chipboard Stickers
Enamel dots
Zig markers
Black Archival ink

Here is a side view of the layout before I proceed for procedure

I took a white card stock and used zig markers along with Cube builder stencil and then did water wash to create a lovely background.Next I stamped flower image from Best mom stamp set and then colored with zig markers again after fussy cut.I used one focal flower image and started adhering as per the design.I also adhered some chipboard stickers and enamel dots on the layout. To complete it,I have handwritten a quote on the bottom right.

My inspiration behind this layout came from current scrap booking challenge from Altenew, attaching a picture below of the sketch.I was also inspired by the color chart provided for the challenge.

I have one more picture of the layout

Father knows Best

Hi friends,

Today I have made a card using a strong sentiment from my very first Winnie and Walter Stamp set, this one is like three years old and reads,THE WRITE STUFF- LEAVE IT TO DAD,First will show you my card and then the stamp set used

I have used one of the sentiment from the stamp set,to make this card I was inspired by the current Winnie and Walter "March Rainbow Challenge"

I have made a CAS card, covering only one third of the total area of the card. For the rainbow,I painted a separate card stock and then die cut it with one of the Sizzix dies. The sentiment is stamped with black Archival ink and then heat embossed with clear powder.Lastly I adhered the white card stock on a  Kraft card stock to complete the card.

It was quite fun doing this card.I am entering this card to following challenges:

I love Rainbows as they showcase the best of colours,so I think my card fits well for this challenge.

Forever Grateful MOM

Hello friends,

Today I have a lovely card to showcase on my blog. This one is for my MOM....My inspiration behind this card came from Virginia's Picture, one from her trip to Santorini,Greece. That's one of my most wished destination too💓😊,sometime soon definitely..
I truly loved the colors used in the inspiration picture,Let me show you my take on the it...and then would share the inspiration picture

Here's the inspiration pic behind this card

I certainly loved the blues, pale pink and pale brown and that's why incorporated them in my card too.For the base I chose a gold card stock. Then I took pale brown 100gsm card stock and diecut with one of my background dies, adhered it to the gold base.

I have used "I adore you" stamp set from Altenew for flowers, which I stamped on a separate sheet with black archival ink and colored using Altenew Alcohol markers( R318,R302,B227,B204).The sentiment is also from Altenew's "Wild Hibiscus" stamps set.I have white heat embossed the sentiment on a black chipboard.

Hope you liked the simple beauty.I am entering this card to following challenges:

I have approximately used one third of the total area of the card

Stretching Your Stamps

Hello everyone,

Today I have a fun and colorful project to inspire you all for the current Craftyscrappers Challenge.

Before I talk more about it,let me share a picture of it first.

Material used:
Craftyscrappers stamp(Celebrate Holi)
White card stock
Distress Oxide Inks
Black Archival ink
YOU die from Stamplorations
Cup Sequins from my stash

Now let's talk about the technique used for the card and the tag.I have tried stretching my stamps in a very extraordinary way.The stamp set was designed for Holi festival but now as the festival is over I was confused how to make something out of it and that's where this technique of stretching the stamps clicked to me.

I have used the triangle geometric shape in the stamp set which was actually representing gulal(Holi Powdered color) on the stamp set to create my background first with Distress oxide inks in various colors.

After that I have used You die and made a diecut on the finished background.Took that diecut out and replaced it with same white cardstock diecuts thrice, lastly topped the original distress oxide inked  diecut.

The sentiment is from same stamp set, stamped with Black Archival ink.Lastly attached Cup sequins to adorn the card.Attaching more pics of the card and the tag.

I am linking this project to following challenges:

I feel the card and tag perfectly fits the challenge theme COLOUR

I have incorporated colors inspired by the spring colors shown in the inspiration pic and I feel YOU gives me a lot of strength and faith in ppl is the inspiration pic

Masking Technique with beautiful Butterflies

Hello Everyone,

Today I have another technique card on my blog. With this card I just wanted to have lot of colors on my card as the theme.I chose butterfly stamp from Urban stamp and a sentiment from Penny black.Let me show you the card first and then we will proceed with the procedure.

I chose to work on white card stock and make it a single layered card.I have used Neon inks from HERO Arts.I stamped my first butterfly on the card stock and simultaneously created a mask on making sheet for the butterfly.

Using the same mask,I went on stamping one butterfly on partially over another without messing the look. That's where you can notice the butterflies are looking one top of another.

The technique is simple and quite old but I still love to use it as the results are beautiful.Lastly I stamped the sentiment with Black Archival Ink and added few cup sequins to the card from my stash.

Hope you enjoyed the card.I am linking the card to following challenges:

Rotating Stencils Technique+Two cards

Hello friends,

I am so glad to start my March month with beautiful supplies from Craftyscrappers .Today I have a very unique technique to showcase with Stencils. The Technique is known as "Rotating Stencil Technique".

I have made two lovely cards with this technique as my background.Let me show you both cards with the material used and procedure involved.

1. Get Well Soon card

Material used:
Green Cardstock
Craftyscrappers Stencil(Geometrical Patterns)
Distress inks,Green
Pigment Ink,White
Craftyscrappers Shimmer Paste(Gold)
Zig Color pens
Craftyscrappers Stamp set( Feel Better Friend)
Premium White cardstock By Craftyscrappers
Brown Pattern paper
Double sided tape

Take Green Card stock and fix the stencil on it with the help of any adhesive tapes.Start Distressing the pattern with green ink,I have used the stencil vertically. Move the stencil a little on its right after finishing the first distressing, start distressing again with Green ink.Move the stencil a little more on right and now distress with white pigment ink.Lastly move the stencil little bit left and cover the area with Gold Shimmer paste. My background pattern is ready.

I have stamped images on Craftyscrappers white premium Cardstock with the help of Archival ink.I colored them and then Fussy cut it.Lastly attach everything as shown with the help of double sided tape.

2. Floral card

Material used
Craftscrappers White Premium Card stock
Craftyscrappers stencil Geometrical patterns
Craftyscrappers stencil Build a flower
Craftyscrappers Shimmer paste(Lilac,Splash and Sonoma)
Mdf (all the best)
Enamel accents
Distress ink,Pink and yellow
Green washi tape
Double sided tape

I have used the same rotating technique for this card as well. This time I kept the stencil(Geometrical patterns) horizontal and rotated 90 degrees' and distressed with different ink.On one side of the card I attached Washi tape.

Then I took white card stock, With shimmer paste I made the design on it and the fussy cut it after it dried.Pictures will make the procedure more clear

Lastly I attached everything with double sided tape and embellished with some pollens and leaves from my stash.I have also used Enamel accents to make cute enamel dots.Since March month also relates to Exams for all kids so I wanted to send best wishes to all kids with this lovely colorful card.Sharing few more pictures of the card

I enjoyed making both these cards with a beautiful array of colors.Hope you have liked the cards too.
