Hello friends,
Today I am on Craftyscrappers blog with  a lovely photo frame. This one is a book style two pic photo frame.I had great time making this one and outcome was really pretty.Let me show you a picture of it first before I proceed for the step by step instructions how I made it along with list of supplies.

Sharing few close ups of the frame now

Let me share now the procedure, how to make one easily.

So I took white chipboard(u can opt to take any color chipboard of your choice).

Then I marked as shown in pic.

Cut it and keep aside, then i took some a sheet of handmade paper and started sticking it around and joining all panels.

This is how it will look after joining all three panels.

Then i cut some more chipboard to stick on inside panel and make window to put picture.

Inside I stuck two of such windows, one on each side and covered with some handmade paper borders.

This is how it looks after finishing making the photo frame.

Now is the turn to embellish the frame and make it look beautiful.I have used Craftyscrappers mdf frame, some beads, some flower cutouts and inka gold.

This is how my frame looks after arranging all these embellishments.I have put inka gold on mdf frame to add touch of gold.Sharing few more pictures of the beautiful frame.

Hope you too enjoyed the making.

Hello Everyone!!

Diwali is around ,Festival of lights and loads of celebration,so today I have created a beautiful and elegant tray to go well with the occasion as my Dt project for Craftyscrappers blog.My inspiration behind was definitely the festive mood and also Rainbow Craftykari October challenge. This tray can be used for various purposes like keeping potpourri and candle, how I have shown in the pic,or to keep dry fruits during festival time or to keep any other decorative item as well.

I have made these lovely shimmery flowers by using satin ribbons and shimmer sprays, which I have attached on the side of the tray giving my tray such a unique look.

Let me show you some close ups as well.

VIDEO TO BE Attached soon where I have shown how to make these satin flowers.

Hope you have enjoyed this creative work..Do leave love and feedback below.

Shimmery Succulent Pot

Hello friends,

Today I have a quick inspiration for the current Craftyscrappers challenge.I have made this lovely pot using my mixed media skills and Craftyscrappers products.Let me share a picture of it before sharing the procedure and material.

I took a simple pot and painted it with gesso all over.Once the gesso dried,I sprayed the pot with bitter lemon shimmer spray from Craftyscrappers and let it dry again.
I have stamped some pots and succulents from Craftyscrappers stamp set "I am stuck on  you" with Black archival Ink.I have painted these using ranger enamel accents to uplift the coloring, some places I have also colored with archival inks as they are waterproof inks.
Then I took some frosting powder and added  little bitter lemon shimmer spray to it and mixed it well.On the top of the pot ,I applied this colored frosting powder with the help of matt medium.Bottom I have added some inka gold effect.

Hope you enjoyed this quick makeover of pot.

Everyday Love layout

Hello friends,

Today I have a beautiful project to show you all. This one is a lovely layout putting feelings on paper in form of art.I have made this for a friend and her baby.

For this layout I used the sketch provided by Altenew for their altenew-sketch-challenge-5

I really loved the sketch and wanted to play along definitely ...the color dots are my favorite ones given on the sketch,so incorporating these colors was such a joy.

To make this layout ,first I took a pattern paper, this one is from Femina (Papericious).Link to the blog is papericiousindia.blogspot.in/  I also took One of the Papericious Chipboard and heat embossed it with snow white glitter embossing powder.I loved how the pattern paper and chipboard added lot of shimmer to my layout.

After that I have used Stamp set from Altenew which is Peony Scrolls and heat embossed them in gold before coloring them with watercolors.I did fussy cut to these flowers and scrolls.

I have used few embellishments to adorn it like some stickers. The title is my favorite from one of the paper pack designed by Divya Thallap .

Sharing some close ups of the layout with you

I had lot of fun making this beauty.Hope u enjoyed it too.

I am entering it ti following challenges:

Adding it here as I have added a lot of shimmer to the project and its shining bright and lovely.

That's all from my side today. Thanks for stopping by.

Business name plate with Shimmer sprays and pastes

Hello Friends,

I am back again on Craftyscrappers blog with my new mixed media project. This one is a business name plate which I did recently for a friend who is into Saree business.I have used the super amazing and gorgeous products from Craftyscrappers which is launched recently in the name of "Shimmer sprays and Shimmer Pastes"...I totally loved using them, before I talk more on the versatility of these products, let me show you some of the pictures of my project first.

To make this one,I took a cardboard piece of size 7*8 inches and started pasting some scrap thin sheets of various colors card stocks....most of these strips were like leftovers from my earlier projects.

After that I took the Victorian stencil by Craftyscrappers and used it on the panel along with Blush shimmer paste and let it dry.We can heat dry also these shimmer pastes with the help of heat tool in case want to fasten the process.

Once my paste dried,I sprayed the shimmer paints on the paste...I still feel my picture is not justifying the real beauty of these sprays...these sprays blends beautifully with the paste and cover desired surface.I have used Bitter lemon and Ocean waves shimmer sprays.

Then I took a pattern sheet cut it first and then did hand tearing to make it look a little more designer.

Then i pasted it on the panel using Matt medium glue.Next I used a lady stamp from Craftyscrappers ,hand painted it giving it a tint of gold by using Inka gold and creating Indian gold thread weaved Saree,I have often seen my mom wearing such Sarees but getting the feel on paper was real fun to try. Once all done ,have fussy cut it and pasted on the panel as shown in the picture.

On the borders,I have used Washi tape by Craftyscrappers...this tape added much desired shiny border to my project.

Next I have used some stamps from "U Sparkle" which gave meaning to the whole project. The word "Arbee" is brand name and not any stamp.

This completes my project,Sharing some close ups of the work below

I had lot of fun creating this piece and playing with my new possession, the shimmer pastes and sprays.

I hope u enjoyed it too.

Happy crafting!!
