Mixed Media...July Moodboard

Hi friends,

It been long I have not tried my hands on mixed media,needed some inspiration to kick off...I chose to pick July Moodboard from Mixed Media and Art...this one inspired me and here I am with my version of moodboard

I loved doing this piece.The bottom of the panel has some hand collected sea shells which me and my daughters collected on our trip to Pondicherry. The flower is made of clay and then adhered to the panel.This work is for my daughters who loved playing with me on this piece of art.I have used Lindy sprays and Prime waxes to make this.

Floral cards with Tubby craft stamps

This is my first post with Tubby craft stamps.I have recently joined their Design team and loved my Dt kit filled with all goodies including stamps,ink pads and acrylic blocks.They are all made in India and of high quality.

I made two cards with their floral stamps,Lets show you both the cards

For the first card,I have used Ink pads to create the background.The blending is done on Neenah 110lb cardstock. Next I created the fence by distressing it with wild honey and then handcut to make the fence as middle layer.Last layer has all the flowers created with lot of masking and then watercolored before applying the nuvo glitters.Adhered all layers with clear glue and double sided tape and my card is done.The sentiment is also stamped with tubby craft black ink.I have used following stamp set from Tubby Craft

On to my second card,

I chose to use red card stock as base and attached a sheet of vellum as a layer at the back.Then I took a round circle card stock,stamped the image with tubby craft black ink and ten water colored with Zig colors.The sentiment is also stamped with black ink and then fussy cut before adhering with double sided tape.I have just added a tint of sparkle to my flowers center.Lastly added gum drops to add interest to the card.I have used following stamp set from Tubby Craft
