Family layout

Hello friends!!

This is like a much waited post, but I am glad to finally present it today....so story begins like this...Some time back I bought few scrapbooking supplies for myself from Altenew..a friend told me she is travelling to U.S for short period and will be able to get my parcel soon...parcel reached her bang on time...but(sadly)she had to stay back for another 3 weeks for some office work...hmmm so it reached my hands after a long desperate wait for more than one month...but finally it's here and I am loving it...My today's layout is all about my lovely and supportive family of two little Princesses and an amazing husband...without them nothing would have been possible...SO now without much ado..here is my layout

For the background,I have used a lovely pattern paper from Papericious Femina set.I then added Dovecraft gold glitter glue on some portions to enhance the base paper.I also did some watercolored flowers in yellow diagonally on the base paper.

Then I started putting my family picture and then put a frame around it from "Our family scrapbook collection.I used another sentiment frame from same scrapbook collection and adhered it to one of the sides of the pic.

I adhered the Floral flurries washi tape onto white cardstock and fussy-cut the images to create layers and add dimension to the layout. The heart on the camera is an adhesive wood veneer from our family scrapbook collection.

The banner is fussy-cut from Femina paper pack and I have handwritten the sentiment "Joy of Togetherness".I have added handmade butterflies on the top left corner to play with additional twist of Papericious challenge. Also I was inspired by Enza's both Altenew layout where she has added Butterflies.I have also added some papericious chippies, the round circulars on bottom left side and top right, after coloring them Blue with Altenew alcohol markers.

Lastly I have added love sentiment which is a sticker and few enamel dots.

I have been admiring Enza's layout's for Altenew Sketch challenge#9 and glad to finally play along with the challenge. Here is Enza's layout which inspired me to make one

I have played both with the sketch and the color combination .

Now onto choosing my background,I had no doubts after seeing Erum's card with Femina paper,Here is her card

I had real fun making this layout and my family is loving it.

I have added paper frame to my focal picture.

Hello everyone,

Recently I placed my kind of big order from Simon Says Stamp and got this beautiful stamp set "Floral backgrounds" from Pink Fresh Studio,Here is my very first card from this lovely stamp set..

I took a card base of 5*6 inches, stamped the image with black archival ink and then water colored it.Then I added clear embossing powder on the whole as i wanted to make it little glossy.Adhered Washi tape all four sides and lastly stuck a puffy sticker with sentiment along with some enamel dots.

I am playing along with following challenges with this card.

I have played along the color challenge.

I was inspired by song 5 Spring flowers which is currently everyone's favorite in my house since my 3 year old daughter is completely stuck on to it for a while😅

Pink wishes!!

Hi friends,

I am so excited to show this card today...this one I always wanted to create but somehow never was able to...Recently got my new Sugarpea stamps...the moment I saw Pretty Peonies stamp set from Sugarpea designs,I just knew this one is special😇😊,Here is my card without much ado

For this card,I was completely inspired by Sugarpea challenge

I have mixed up both the sides offered by the challenge.

For this card,I have taken a cardbase of 5*6 inches. For the first time,I also tried using Sigma cardstock from Papericious as my base.I tried ink blending and also heat embossing on the sheet. Both happened smoothly and with great finish.

I have distressed the background with Worn Lipstick distress ink. After that I heat embossed the stamped image with Gold embossing powder and tried filling in few more colors using watercolors. The sentiment is also heat embossed with gold powder.Lastly I added sequins and beads to add final touches.

Hope you liked my card.

Happy Birthday Kitty!!

Hi everyone!!

Today I have a sweet kitty card, this one is a quick card for some followers who asked me to show them easy ways of making cards, where not too much of coloring or too many card making techniques are involved. So unto my card first,

For this card,I was completely inspired by the Inky paws challenge by Newton's Nook Designs.
Here's the link to the challenge

The challenge is to add buttons to the project..I simply loved the idea and tried making an easy card with the same.

I have used a stamped image from Newton loves cake stamp set from Newton's Nook designs.

I too a red card base first and then I took a yellow card base and die cut it with circle dies. After adhering that to the base I started putting the buttons around the circle in a designer manner with the help of clear glue. Then I adhered the stamped and fussy cut image with double sided foam.Lastly I stamped the sentiment from same stamp set and adhered it with double sided foam after distressing the edges a little with green color.

Yes,this was quick and easy and can be tried easily by young card lovers as well.

Hope you enjoyed the making,Do try and share your creatives,

Have a COOL birthday!!

Hello my crafty friends!!

I have a friend who simply loves ice-creams.Her birthday is in next week so I planned to make a cute birthday card for her.I have used Your next stamp "Happy Brrthday" stamp set.The waddle holding the ice-cream was just apt and I also had a coordinating sentiment in the same stamp set.Sharing my card below

For the base,I have done marble technique using green and white acrylic colors, adding water to the card stock and then making the design with a toothpick.Once that all semi dried,I have splattered some gold spray and again used toothpick to create a pattern.I left it aside for complete drying and once that was done,I attached it to main card base.My inspiration of doing this marble trick came from a picture posted by UNIKO for their photo inspiration challenge.I was quite impressed by the design on the suitcase and tried replicating it in my trick. along with birthday twist.

Here's the pic which inspired me to make this marbled background.

Next I tried adding more elements to my card,I used Your next stamp "Cool backgrounds" stamp set and lavender archival ink to create a pattern on a card stock of size 2*4.5 inches. Then I cut it into half horizontally and attached it as per the sketch challenge posted by Your next stamp. Here's the picture of the sketch

Lastly I attached the waddle with double sided foam and stamped the sentiment on the marbled background with Black archival ink.I have added some enamel dots on the top as well.

Today's card is my favorite...I have tried something very new...crossing my fingers and hoping you all would like this new take. Here's the card first and then I will talk more about the material used and rest of the description.

I have used Superpowers stamp set and Swooshes stamp set from Create a Smile.Firstly I took a raw card base and stuck a textured gold sheet on it leaving some area open.On a separate card stock I stamped stars with watermark ink from Swooshes stamp set in a pattern covering whole area. Then heat embossed with white powder and distressed with two shades, chipped sapphire and seedless preserves. The fairy is stamped on separate sheet with black archival ink and then watercolored with Zig markers.

The die of houses and tress is from Stamplorations, Stitched Winter Landscape- Cutplorations. every aspect is attached one by one either by clear glue or double sided foam tape.Lastly I added some bling to my lovely scene.

I am playing along following challenges with this card!
